What is Kombucha?
Basically Kombucha is a tea based fizzy drink. It’s made from tea, sugar, water and scoby (stay with me). Due to the fermented nature of the beverage, it aids digestion, contains lots of vitamins and provides a whole heap of other benefits to the body.
And it is also super YUM!
But don’t you avoid sugar Kristy? Well yes – but the sugar is food for the scoby and most is lost during the fermentation process.
