I love finding and trying new recipes, but there is just SO much good stuff out there. It’s hard to know where to start! So I had an idea to help me…err and you…welcome to the “Real Food Round Up” – where I pick the recipe highlights I have found from the last week and save them for you.
So what are the rules? Firstly they will be dishes I’d cook – so low fructose, no gluten and generally full of goodness (if one with higher fructose or gluten creeps in I will let you know!). Secondly, I will pick a breakfast, lunch, dinner and snack or dessert I have seen over the last week (I’m not going to set specifics about when they have been posted…just when I have found them will do!) and I feature them here. You then have a day’s meal plan set out for you – easy!
Let’s get started!
The Real Food Round Up (Healthy Meal Plans) Saturday 6th December 2014 (Christmas Edition!)
Seeing as though the last one was so popular, I thought it would be nice for me to publish another Christmas Edition!
Dessert: Berry Crumble from The Healthy Chef (note: for fructose free substitute rice malt syrup for honey; also contains oats so for gluten free substitute these out as well)
Dessert: Mango and Coconut Parfait from Well Nourished
Make as a gift: Butternut Cookies from Sarah Wilson (IQS)
Make as a gift: Sugar Free Ferrero Rochers from IQS (note, this does have dark chocolate in it, so whilst low in fructose, technically it still has sugar! Be sure to use a high % dark chocolate)
