Kiddie Friendly Cafe’s
Cheeky Cafe – Scarborough (WA) – has a small play area for little ones. Not heaps of room for prams though (if there are a couple of people catching up!).
Feast Wembley (WA) – This cafe has a separate play area for the kiddies, complete with ballpit and plastic play gym. It has large glass windows so if you sit near enough, you can supervise. If there are a few kids in there, the playroom is more suited to older children (around 2 to 3+), however Miss H (20 months) had a play after her breakfast, I just went with her. They have colouring pages and crayons for the tables which is great to keep little ones occupied!
Waldecks Stirling (WA) – the cafe here has a great (fenced) outdoor play area with cubby house, slide and toys.
The Boathouse Maribyrnong River (VIC) – Owned by Gary Mehigan (Masterchef). The café itself is ok, however the best part for those with kids is there is an awesome playground right next to it (so you can bribe your older kiddies with an “eat your lunch and then we can play”).
The Happy River Café Footscray (VIC) – Coffee here is ok but the kids menu is great. There are picnic rugs set up on the grass and loads of toys so the kids can play.
Moby Torquay (VIC) – Good coffee, they don’t have a specific kids menu but will cater to little ones. Moby has a great outdoor playground with cubby house, climbing wall, sandpit.
Birdie Num Num Carlton North (VIC) – Parking is difficult as it’s on a busy main road, however they serve Axil coffee (I’m told from my reliable source it is very yum!). There is a large courtyard outside with a central sandpit and loads of toys.
Healthy Cafes & Restaurants
HealthEZE Hillarys (WA) – lovely cafe with great coffee and juices and plenty of healthy meal options. Awesome raw treats available too! I should add – almond milk friendly as well :)
Health Freak Cafe Subiaco and Scarborough (WA) – a clean eating cafe serving delicious raw, gluten and sugar free, low carb, organic foods…yum!
Little Shop of Plenty (WA) – based in Maylands, this cafe is AMAZING. Words cannot describe how much I love it. Awesome food and cool (sustainably sourced) homewares.
Moore & Moore Cafe (WA) – based in Fremantle, a very clever cafe focused on eating local, seasonal foods.
My Health Market (WA) – there are a few around, I’ve only been to the Midland store. They stock organic products and raw treats/healthy meal options.

To The Woods (WA) – my local cafe in Bassendean – great for a coffee date as they have raw treats!
Go Coffee Go (WA) – a little different – a drive through coffee shop in Scarborough WA, they stock Rawsome treats.
